These two longform TVCs were developed as looping retail videos intended for continuous playback in seafood stores and hypermarkets across the US market. Each film was designed with a distinct visual language while maintaining a cohesive product narrative and strong shelf appeal.
Mushroom Bagoong TVC takes a gourmet, elevated approach. Shot in a controlled kitchen studio over one day, the film features live cooking sequences in a dark, atmospheric set. The art direction emphasizes sophistication, warmth, and restraint—positioning the product as a refined, vegan alternative with depth of flavor. Lighting, styling, and pacing were carefully crafted to entice viewers through texture, mood, and culinary detail.
Shrimp Bagoong TVC leans into a more festive, studio-based execution. Also shot in one day, the video showcases the product through creative tabletop compositions, dynamic camera movements, and celebratory props paired with food styling. The visual sequence balances market acceptability for a US audience while subtly retaining Filipino festive sensibilities through color, rhythm, and composition.
I handled the full production process for both projects—from concept development and visual direction to production management and post-production delivery—ensuring consistency, clarity, and strong retail impact across both films.
